The Recipe (About the Role)
This role is all about planning, implementing, and keeping track of important business projects with clear deliverables. You'll be monitoring the program's status, costs, and resources. Managing a Capital budget and its related projects is key to making sure Weetabix's Capital funds are spent wisely, aligning with the company’s strategy and needs, while keeping operational and legal risks to a minimum. You'll also take ownership on projects that promote best practices and foster strong, positive relationships with all stakeholders.
* Define project scope and develop a clear project plan.
* Deliver key project milestones as per the project brief.
* Manage finances by forecasting costs, controlling expenditure, and addressing variances.
* Oversee daily project operations, documentation, and deliverable measurement.
* Regularly review work quality to meet standards and plans.
* Identify and manage project risks including schedule, budget, and conflicts.
* Collaborate with stakeholders for effective project implementation and communication.
* Report project status and progress to stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and company standards (e.g., PUWER, DSEAR, Food Safety, EHS).
The Ingredients (What we need from you)
Key Know How:
* Recognised Engineering qualification (NVP Level 3 or equivalent).
* Use of MS Office particularly Excel, Powerpoint & Word.
* Suitable safety qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, FAAW, IOSH).
* Use of engineering applications, e.g. CAD.
* Experience in engineering/technical roles.
* Experience managing a team.
Nice To Have:
* Working in an FMCG or Construction environment.
* NEBOSH qualification.
* Project Management qualification.
