Event Planner - Maternity Cover Contract
£26,000 - £28,500 per annum (Depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Event Planner to join Levy, overseeing catering operations at Swansea.com Stadium, home to Swansea City Football Club & Ospreys Rugby Union. This role involves managing matchday experiences, conferences, and event catering.
A key focus of this partnership is sustainability. Levy is dedicated to achieving Climate Net Zero targets, aligning with Swansea City's goals. Initiatives include increasing plant-based menu options, reducing single-use plastics, and minimizing food waste.
Our aim is to deliver exceptional culinary experiences at Swansea.com Stadium while promoting environmental responsibility.
More about the role:
1. Liaise with clients to identify, propose, and confirm all event catering requirements.
2. Plan delivery logistics with site operations and the wider team, including locations, timings, and guest numbers, ensuring all catering needs are effectively communicated.
3. Adhere to Levy's pricing policies to maximize catering revenues and identify upselling opportunities.
4. Administer all event-related correspondence, including contractual documents, deposits, and final invoices, following company guidelines.
5. Be fully familiar with event details and sales handover processes.
6. Establish and maintain good client relationships through regular contact, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client requirements.
7. Create full, concise Event Catering Proposals that are seasonally appropriate and match the guest/delegate demographic.
