Senior automation tester

Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements: We require current SC clearance or the ability to obtain SC clearance. We require experience with Java and the Spring Framework. We require experience with Cucumber for BDD testing. We require experience working with REST APIs. It is beneficial to be familiar with Wiremock. It is beneficial to be familiar with Maven. It is beneficial to be familiar with the AWS stack, including secure cloud testing. It is beneficial to have experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or K6. It is beneficial to be familiar with REST clients such as Postman or Insomnia. It is beneficial to be familiar with GitLab CI. It is beneficial to have Java experience for coding Cucumber steps in our test framework. It is beneficial to be familiar with container environments such as Kubernetes. Responsibilities: We work closely with software developers to reach a shared understanding of the code base and unit-level test coverage. We collaborate with analysts to ensure the required business scenarios are covered in acceptance test scripts. We work across both functional and non-functional areas of an application. We coach and mentor testers. We communicate with stakeholders inside and outside our organisation to coordinate test coverage and schedules.
