Job Description:
This is a full-time role based in Warrington, working 5 days a week.
United Living is seeking a Project Controls Manager to support complex energy infrastructure projects within our Infrastructure Services division. The role involves collaborating with technical and commercial teams to ensure projects are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered according to contractual and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Programme Oversight: Lead the development, monitoring, and updating of integrated project schedules to facilitate planning and delivery.
2. Performance Reporting: Manage reporting processes, lead review sessions, and track KPIs and project performance across workstreams.
3. Cost & Forecast Management: Collaborate with the commercial team to maintain and report on budgets, forecasts, commitments, and variances.
4. Data Analysis & Trend Monitoring: Monitor deviations, identify issues early, and produce progress reports and dashboards.
5. Collaborative Planning: Coordinate with project planners, engineers, and commercial leads to align schedules and targets.
6. Risk & Change Management: Maintain project risk registers and change logs, using scenario analysis where applicable.
7. Team Support & Leadership: Guide planners and controllers to ensure consistent reporting standards across energy contracts.
Qualifications:
* A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Experience with multidisciplinary teams and delivering performance reports to senior stakeholders.
Additional Skills:
* Strong experience in project controls within infrastructure, utilities, or energy sectors.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software.
* Ability to interpret technical data and support strategic decisions.
* Capability to manage multiple deadlines across phases.
* Understanding of cost and schedule integration and control systems.
* Confidence in leading discussions, facilitating meetings, and working with delivery teams and clients.
