Role Overview
The role of the Specification Sales Manager - LED Lighting will involve:
* Field sales role, promoting a manufactured range of LED lighting
* Targeting large scale projects, such as national refurbishment projects within retail, public sector, domestic, hospitality, leisure and student accommodation
* Managing relationships with electrical contractors and M&E contractors and specifiers such as M&E consultants, architects, local authorities, lighting designers and electrical consultants
* Following up leads via Barbour ABI
* Mix of account development and new business development
* Covering the North West
* Managing customers via telephone, teams and regular face to face meetings
Ideal Applicant
* A proven track record in winning large scale projects within electrical contractors and M&E contractors and or specifiers such as M&E consultants, architects, local authorities, lighting designers and electrical consultants
* Lighting design experience is desirable
* Technical ability within commercial and industrial sectors
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* IT proficient
* Strong commercial awareness
* Confident, customer focussed and self motivated
* Enthusiastic, team player with strong communication skills
