Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist at our New Romney location. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and treat ocular conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments in alignment with patient needs. Responsibilities also include educating patients about eye health, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality care. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the vision and quality of life for our patients.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, and prescribing corrective treatments
* Knowledge of ocular conditions and treatment options, as well as compliance with best practices in eye care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
* Attention to detail for accurately maintaining patient records and administering treatments
* Commitment to providing patient-centered care and educating individuals on eye health and preventive measures
* Experience with optometric tools, equipment, and technologies is preferred
* Team-oriented approach with the ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment
