Lead Early Years Practitioner
Location: Tameside SK14
Job Type: Part-time, 12.15pm-18.15pm Monday- Friday (Annual Leave with a 2-week Christmas closure)
Salary: £14.15- £15.30 per hour
Start date: September 2025 (As soon as possible)
Contract type: Temp to perm
Responsibilities
* Assisting delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to age 2 children.
* Confident with leading elements of the EYFS Framework.
* Supporting children’s learning and development through continuous provision and play-based activities.
* Working closely with other support staff to create a safe, stimulating environment.
* Monitor progress and maintain accurate learning records.
We’re Looking for Someone Who
* Has experience working with children in EYFS.
* Holds a relevant qualification (in line with the new EYFS Framework guidance).
* Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
* Is proactive, patient, and nurturing with excellent communication skills.
* Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff.
* A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
* First Aid Paediatrics trained (desirable but not essential).
