You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all learners to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of students by assisting in the development, delivery and assessment of relevant resources.
This will involve supporting the Curriculum Quality Manager in the delivery of the department curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the student journey, delivering first class and high-quality learning and teaching experiences.
You should have served a recognised aircraft apprenticeship and have relevant industry experience within the aeronautical industry sector. Experience of working in a Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) and an awareness of the B1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence framework would be advantageous. Experience of the composite repair process would be desirable.
The ability to teach a broad range of subjects associated with the aeronautical engineering sector is essential. A comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, along with excellent motivational, communication and organisational skills. It is also desirable, but not essential, that you hold, or are working towards, a professional teaching qualification.
