Forklift Operative - Permanent Role - Near Maldon
Full Time | Overtime Available
We are recruiting on behalf of a well established organisation for a Forklift Operative to join their operational team. This is a hands on role suited to someone practical, safety conscious and confident operating forklift and plant equipment. The position involves a mixture of forklift and production duties, and our client is open to speaking with candidates from a forklift, warehouse or production background.
The Role:

Produce product using equipment to a high standard
*
Operate mobile plant and fixed equipment
*
Move and load product using a forklift
*
Carry out basic maintenance and support plant operations
*
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For:
*
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
*
Experience operating plant machinery is desirable but not essential
*
Basic engineering knowledge with the ability to respond to minor machinery issues
*
Strong understanding of health and safety
*
Good communication skills and a team focused approach
*
Flexible attitude towards duties
Additional Information:

Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 7 pm
*
Friday, 7 am to 3 pm
*
One hour unpaid lunch break
*
Free onsite parking
*
Own transport essential due to location, no public transport links
*
£12.21 per hour plus paid overtime
*
