This role involves illustrating a children’s book titled Stick Tales – Magical Wishes for My Little Sister, told from the perspective of Cooper, a yellow Labrador retriever who turns sticks from his walks into magical wands with special wishes for his soon-to-be-born baby sister. The illustrator will create custom character artwork of Cooper in multiple expressions and humorous poses, as well as illustrations of the niece, the sister, and her husband in various poses and expressions. Requirements
* Experience in children’s book illustration with a slightly realistic yet soft artistic style
* Ability to create consistent character designs across multiple poses and expressions
* Proficiency in illustrating both humans and animals with personality and warmth
* Strong storytelling skills through visual expression and composition
* Ability to work from provided style references and adapt them to the project’s needs
* Attention to detail to maintain consistency throughout the book
* Comfortable working remotely and delivering digital files in high resolution
* Reliable time management to complete the project within agreed timelines
