Overview
A vibrant and ambitious secondary school in Dorset is seeking a Maths Teacher to join their team as soon as possible for a long‑term sickness cover. This opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers, with flexibility for full‑time or part‑time working.
You will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to a school that is passionate about excellence in learning and committed to helping young people achieve the highest possible outcomes. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high‑quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Prepare students for GCSE Maths through clear explanations and structured practice
* Use assessment to track progress and inform teaching
* Establish strong routines and promote positive behaviour for learning
* Contribute to curriculum planning, intervention and enrichment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school

Requirements
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and ideally KS4
* Strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills
* Effective classroom management
* A proactive, reflective and collaborative approach
