Job Title: Payroll & Accounts Co-ordinator

Location: Hereford

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Part-Time - 30 hours per week (days negotiable)

Salary: £17.40 / hour = £27,144 per annum

About the Role:

GB Liners Limited is a successful removal, storage, and shipping company with a 100-year history of providing customers with a quality service. The Company has branches throughout the UK and approximately 300 employees. We are recruiting for an experienced and detail-focused Payroll & Accounts Co-ordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional to join a supportive and friendly team, ensuring payroll is delivered accurately, on time, and in full compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage & process monthly payroll from end to end

· Maintain accurate employee and payroll records

· Process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP

· Ensure payroll compliance with HMRC and RTI reporting requirements

· Process Pension submissions

· Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs including verification of new employees,

administer payments & deductions for flexible benefits & amendments to

contracts

· Calculating holiday allowances & reconciliation

· Reporting on contract hours

· Mileage returns and payments

· Address and resolve payroll-related queries

· Assist with processing petty cash & reconciliations

· Assist with credit card admin and expense coding

· Perform any reasonable additional duties within your capability as requested by

management as necessary to support the business

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

· Ideally at least 3 years' experience in UK end to end payroll processing

· Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet

multiple deadlines

· Clear and professional communication skills

· Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory payments

· Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy

· A high level of discretion when handling confidential information
