Technology Project Manager
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working
£48,611 - £51,169 per year
35 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Projects and Programmes team, based in Worcester. This role sits within the Technology Delivery function. The team is responsible for delivering a wide variety of projects and programmes including re-platforming of applications, automation of business processes and modernisation of Sanctuary’s network.
As a Technology Project Manager you will coordinate, monitor and ensure cost effective and efficient delivery of projects to support Technology improvements, and efficiencies for the benefit of all customers. You will work with colleagues to solve problems and put in place an effective solution to ensure minimal disruptions occurs.
The role of Technology Project Manager will include:
* Working with Technology support teams and business users to manage and deliver Technology improvement projects as part of the overall Technology Strategy and operational delivery
* Oversee and manage projects throughout the project lifecycle through the effective control and utilisation of resources (including budgets)
* Developing, managing and implementing project plans to effectively manage and deliver Technology improvement projects
* Supporting the delivery of solutions that meet customer needs and working with internal and external stakeholders to project manage the implementation of services and product improvements
* Support the provision of high-quality management information to the Senior Technology Leadership Team on project progress and issues
Skills and experiences:
* Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
* Prince2 Practitioner level, APM preferred
* Proven experience working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reports and third party suppliers
* Experience in developing solutions in line with business strategies, whilst meeting business and user needs
* The ability to effectively manage projects using project planning tools such as Microsoft Project
* Excellent communication, organisational, project management and planning skills
* Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

* Role salary is £44,192 with an additional policy allowance of £4,419 per annum (rising to £46,517 with an additional policy allowance of £4,651 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
