About the Nursery Trainee Manager Role
Do you have Early Years Leadership experience and looking for a fresh new challenge? As a Nursery Trainee Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role is designed for individuals aspiring to develop management skills within a childcare setting. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager and staff to promote high standards of care and education.
What does the Nursery Trainee Manager role involve?
* Assist in overseeing daily nursery activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to train, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare.
* Monitor and support the developmental progress of children, implementing appropriate educational activities and assessments.
* Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, addressing concerns and promoting nursery events and initiatives.
* Help manage administrative tasks, including attendance records, incident reports, and budgeting.
* Assist in the implementation of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring adherence by staff and parents.
* Promote a safe and hygienic environment, conducting regular safety checks and maintaining equipment and facilities.
* Work collaboratively with the nursery team, contributing ideas to enhance the overall quality of care and education.
What are we looking for?
* A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required.
* Solid knowledge of the EYFS.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
