Overview of the role:
As a Council Tax & Benefits Officer, you'll be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing claims, and providing accurate, timely advice. You'll work both independently and collaboratively, helping to improve service delivery
This is a hybrid role, office attendance required on Tuesdays and Fridays
Responsibilities and Duties
You'll report to a Council Tax and Benefits Team Manager.

Be part of a collaborative, supportive team, delivering a high-quality service and providing excellent support to customers.
Help shape the Council's reputation by promoting a positive image through every interaction.
Some roles may include home visits, offering a varied and dynamic working environment.
Build strong working relationships with colleagues, service users, and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Take ownership of a specific area of work, keeping your team informed and driving service improvements.
Stay organised and focused to ensure key deadlines are consistently met.
Experience using NEC Revs & Bens and NECDM is essential.
