Title: Service Designer E
Location: Edinburgh, New Uberior House (Hybrid)
Pay Rate/Salary: Competitive

Purpose:
The role is focused on shaping service design within an agile environment, advocating for user-centred approaches, collaborating across teams, and driving design thinking in strategic initiatives. You'll also support evolving the organisation's design culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Work within agile teams to define priorities, scope, and outcomes.
* Shape strategic initiatives using customer, colleague, and market insight.
* Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to clarify business needs and risks.
* Communicate and manage expectations across multiple perspectives.
* Support service research and document current/future state services.
* Make user-focused design decisions and challenge constraints.
* Own personal development and growth.
* Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and engineers.
* Share knowledge, embed design principles, and actively contribute to the design community.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proactive, motivated, and driven; fosters innovation and continuous improvement.
* Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
* Confidence engaging with senior audiences; ability to provide constructive challenge.
* Calm, resilient, and adaptable under pressure.
