Ribble Recruitment is supporting a leading education provider in the recruitment of an experienced and visionary Head Teacher for a well-established school in Preston. Ribble Recruitment is assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, and the initial stages of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the school
* Establish and deliver a clear vision, ethos, and direction for the school community
* Drive continuous improvement in teaching standards, pupil attainment, and Ofsted outcomes
* Lead, motivate, and develop senior leaders, teaching staff, and support teams
* Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, statutory education requirements, and regulatory standards
* Manage budgets effectively and ensure financial sustainability
* Maintain strong relationships with governors, parents, local authorities, and external stakeholders
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture for staff and pupils
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
* Significant senior leadership experience within a UK school (Deputy Head, Assistant Head, or Head Teacher level)
* Proven track record of school improvement and leadership impact
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted framework, safeguarding, and statutory education requirements
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Experience managing budgets and strategic planning
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead diverse teams
Desirable
* National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) or equivalent
* Experience leading through Ofsted inspections
* Experience within similar school setting (primary, secondary, or specialist)
