The Role:
We’re seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead The NICI Newquay
through its launch and beyond. As General Manager, you will be the driving
force behind the hotel’s success, shaping its culture, building and inspiring
the team, and delivering an unforgettable guest experience that embodies The
Nici’s spirit of modern coastal glamour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead
all pre-opening activities, from recruitment and training to operational
setup.
* Create
and nurture a high-performing team culture rooted in warmth, style, and
exceptional service.
* Oversee
daily operations to deliver five-star standards with a relaxed,
lifestyle-driven approach.
* Work
closely with the executive team to achieve commercial goals, brand
consistency, and guest satisfaction.
* Build
strong community and brand partnerships to position The Nici Newquay as
the South West’s most talked-about destination.
* Ensure
all departments from Rooms and F&B to Spa and Maintenance operate seamlessly and efficiently.
* Champion
innovation, sustainability, and excellence in every aspect of the guest
journey.
About You:
* Proven
experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a luxury or lifestyle
hotel environment.
* Pre-opening
experience highly desirable.
* A
motivational leader with exceptional communication, strategic, and people
management skills.
* Commercially
astute with a genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable
experiences.
* Energetic,
forward-thinking, and excited to build something truly special from the
