Key Responsibilities:
As a CST Researcher, you will:
Conduct comprehensive research on police intelligence and information systems.
Review and process safeguarding disclosures, ensuring lawful and relevant information is shared.
Assess and respond to safeguarding risks through effective collaboration with partner agencies.
Compose detailed reports for Child and Adult Safeguarding meetings.
Maintain an accurate record management system for audit purposes.
Identify and escalate safeguarding risks, including child sexual exploitation.
Assist with Op Encompass processes and relevant law disclosures.What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should have:
A-level education or equivalent experience in a safeguarding role.
Understanding of Force intelligence processes and the National Intelligence Model (NIM).
Strong ability to build rapport with partner agencies.
Experience working to tight deadlines and managing priorities effectively.
A foundational understanding of child and adult protection issues.
Critical analytical skills to evaluate data and information
Due to Police Vetting Criteria you must have resided within the UK continuously for at least 5 years at the time of application.

Exposure to sensitive material may occur in this role, particularly when researching cases involving vulnerable individuals.
