Year 1 Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher within a Year 1 classroom
* Deliver and support Read Write Inc Phonics sessions
* Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and progress
* Promote positive behaviour and engagement in line with the school ethos
* Help create a structured and supportive learning environment
Year 1 Teaching Assistant requirements:
* Experience working within a KS1 classroom
* Knowledge or experience of Read Write Inc Phonics (essential)
* Ability to commit to full-time hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30)
* Positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting young learners
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
