Overview
Project Support Manager – Environmental Sustainability. The postholder will be responsible for operationally managing elements of the project in support of the Project / Programme Manager with overall responsibility for leading the project / programme. Responsibilities will include to support, facilitate and monitor progress of the project to ensure project timescales and objectives are being achieved.
Location
This role is based in Environmental Sustainability within Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters. The working pattern for this role is to be confirmed.
Contract and hours
Permanent • Part Time • 27 hours per week. Salary pro-rata.
Responsibilities
* Operationally manage elements of the project in support of the Project / Programme Manager.
* Support, facilitate and monitor progress to ensure project timescales and objectives are achieved.
Qualifications / Experience
* Degree in a business-related subject or equivalent with demonstrable experience in project management.
* A good understanding of the issues, policies and legislation relating to the project.
Skills
* Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to apply diplomatic and tactful approaches to dealing with project issues.
* Experience of monitoring budgets.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
* Good keyboard skills.
Other requirements
* For all vacancies where a driving licence is required, this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
