Our Banbridge based Client have an opportunity for an Industrial Grit Blaster / Abrasive Blasting Technician to work within their surface preparation division. This will be an opportunity to work at a State-of-the-art surface preparation and protective coatings workshop and make a real contribution to the ongoing success of the business. Key Responsibilities Power wash components to remove contamination where necessary. Protect machine surfaces and mask any areas not requiring surface preparation and protection. Shotblast surfaces to the required profile. Abrasive cleaning of metal surfaces to remove debris/paint. Read, understand and implement risk assessments and safe working practices/ procedures safely and efficiently. Follow the schedule communicated by the Supervisor and Manager. Maintain tools and equipment daily. Essential Criteria Metal Grit Blasting Experience. Blast Booth Experience. Blast Surface Inspection Experience.
