Job Description Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Portfolio Manager, based at our GE Caledonian site at Prestwick. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the full site integrated master project plan, including maintaining the operational rhythm of project oversight, working collaboratively with project owners to ensure projects are clearly defined and delivered to plan.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Own and proactively maintain full site integrated project master plan through suitable operational cadence
* Effectively communicate with all stakeholders (on site and GE stakeholders) to ensure project success
* Work collaboratively with project owners and business leaders to maintain project plan data
* Coach colleagues to identify risks and opportunities across the full project set and report accordingly. Support problem solving where appropriate.
* Maintain associated process documentation and engage relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance to standards
* Utilise lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools to enhance project execution
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
* Coach, mentor, motivate, and influence project teams across all levels to ensure accountability and positive action
* Report on master project plan execution to senior leadership and work collaboratively to mitigate risks and seize opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements
* Prior experience in project management, including scope, schedule, and cost management
* Proficiency with project management tools and principles
* Ability to manage complex projects across stakeholder groups successfully
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills
