Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Skilled CNC Miller/Programmer to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment in Exhall!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled machinist who can programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines, with a strong focus on precision and quality!
Key Responsibilities:
o Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
o Offline programming (experience with ONECNC preferred – training can be provided)
o Producing mainly one-off components
o Inspecting and checking own work using measuring equipment (bore micrometers, micrometers, depth mics, etc.)
o Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
o Working to tight tolerances with high attention to detail
o Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
o Operating predominantly HAAS machinery
o Maintaining excellent health & safety standards at all times
Requirements:
o Proven experience in CNC milling (programming, setting, operating)
o Strong understanding of engineering drawings
o High level of accuracy and quality focus
o Ability to work independently and manage workload
Hours of Work:
o Monday to Thursday: 6:45am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
o Friday: 6:45am – 11:45am
o Overtime available as required
Salary & Benefits:
* Salary negotiable depending on experience
* Paid every 4 weeks
