Join Our Team as an Area Sales Manager (Service)

Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? Carrier is excited to announce an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (Service) focused on the South East. In this role, you will drive the growth of our recurring revenue account base, specifically targeting service agreement customers.
What Will You Be Doing?
* Prospecting & Research: Identify and qualify potential customers using Carrier’s installed equipment base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor insights.
* Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations, conduct customer needs assessments, and secure new maintenance agreements.
* Building Relationships: Establish rapport with customers through effective questioning techniques to uncover their needs, budget, decision-making process, and timelines.
* Site Surveys: Perform walkthroughs to assess equipment and site conditions, enabling you to create tailored proposals for maintenance agreements.
* Sales Tools: Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to track and develop a robust backlog of sales opportunities.
* Collaboration: Work closely with operations to ensure quality results on maintenance agreements and resolve any customer issues.
* Conversion Strategy: Implement strategies to convert newly installed Carrier equipment into signed maintenance agreements.
Requirements
* Strong Service Sales Background: Proven experience in service sales is essential.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump marketplace is a plus, but a willingness to learn is equally valued.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Customer Engagement: Ability to engage prospective customers, handle inquiries, and convert them into project wins.
* Driving License: A valid UK Driving Licence is required.
* IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
