Robertson Recruitment are working with aleading name in the quarrying and aggregates industry in the Leicestershire area supplying high-quality materials and engineering solutions across the UK and beyond. Youll be responsible for working in the machine shop as a CNC operator / setter working toproduce high-quality metallic and non-metallic components.
Working hours:
Rotational shift pattern.
Shift 1: 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday
Shift 2: 2.00pm to 11:30pm Monday to Thursday, 2.00pm to 5.30pm Friday
Responsibilities:
* Set and operate CNC machines
* Load programs, set tooling, and carry out first-off inspections.
* Work from engineering drawings to produce parts within tight tolerances.
* Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges).
* Perform machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Skills required:
* Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Understanding of quality inspection methods and tools.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
