Hybrid—typically a couple of days a week in the office. Part‑time or flexible arrangements are considered to support work‑life balance. Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of IT services to meet business requirements and act as the bridge between the customer and operational IT delivery teams.
You will focus on service excellence, strong business relationship management, and robust service management practices to align IT services with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Service Management
* Ensure IT services meet agreed service levels and performance targets.
* Drive adherence to ITIL practices across incident, problem and change management.
* Monitor service performance and lead continual service improvement initiatives.
Service Transition and Acceptance
* Oversee the transition of new or changed services into live operation.
* Validate that all services meet Service Acceptance Criteria before deployment.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure operational readiness and smooth handover.
Business Relationship Management
* Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, aligning IT services with business objectives.
* Maintain regular engagement to capture feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
* Influence and manage expectations to strengthen relationships across the organisation.
Service Continuity
* Develop and maintain service continuity plans to minimise disruption during major incidents.
* Provide disaster recovery assurance through regular testing, validation and compliance checks.
* Conduct reviews of continuity and recovery strategies to ensure effectiveness.
Risk and Compliance
* Identify and manage operational risks related to service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, security and internal governance standards.

* Deep understanding of ITIL principles and their practical application.
* Expertise in Service Transition and Acceptance processes.
* Proven ability in Business Relationship Management.
* Knowledge of service continuity planning and disaster recovery assurance.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements, security standards and governance frameworks.
* Ability to analyse service performance metrics and produce insightful reports.
* Skilled in driving service enhancements and benchmarking against best practices.
* Understanding of enterprise IT environments and emerging technologies.
* Awareness of budgeting principles and cost optimisation strategies.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
