To support our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join our team.
The Role
As our HR Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources within the business. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, supporting staff, and enhancing our workforce strategy as we continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise management on HR policies, procedures, and best practice
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for construction labour roles
* Ensure compliance with employment law, health & safety, and right-to-work requirements
* Support employee relations, including grievance and disciplinary processes
* Oversee contracts, payroll queries, and HR documentation
* Develop strategies to retain skilled workers and maintain strong engagement
* Provide HR support to both office and site-based staff
About You
* Proven HR experience, ideally within construction, recruitment, or labour supply sectors
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred, or equivalent experience
* Ability to work independently and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment
