Location: South West of Nottingham, close to Beeston / Chilwell - office based

Our client is working exclusively with Adecco, Nottingham for an immediate Temporary Purchase Ledger clerk.
In this position you will play a vital role in the finance department by managing the purchase ledger effectively. You will be responsible for accurately recording and processing all supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and resolving any discrepancies. This role requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing:
Receive and review supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Code invoices to the appropriate accounts and cost centres.
Input invoice details into the accounting system accurately and promptly.
Payment Processing:
Prepare payment runs in line with company policies and payment terms.
Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for and payments are up to date.
Respond to supplier queries regarding payment status and resolve any issues promptly.
Record Maintenance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase transactions.
