A multi-billion dollar AUM US hedge fund, rapidly building out a European presence, are looking to make a newly created CLO operations lead hire.
The firm have a large CLO business overseas – they have been building this out in Europe over the past couple of years, on course to launch multiple CLO’s next year, in addition to their existing coverage. The newly created function lead / SME hire will take sole ownership in London for European CLO operations, running a front-to-back remit (from warehousing stage, through to closing, through to ‘CLO active’), both hands-on and with management of 1-2 juniors. The hire will sit with the European CLO Portfolio Manager (who the hire will directly support) + analyst / trading / structuring teams.
Given that the European CLO business is in buildout phase, the hire can expect to regularly work on a wide variety of projects + as a fresh pair of eyes the hire will be encouraged to make an impact, bringing in their own ideas where possible.
Candidates should be established in CLO operations, with a willingness and confidence to work in a role that combines hands-on, oversight and management responsibilities. A relevant degree, project management skills and any advanced tech skills are preferable.
Initially, the role is expected to pay up to a £200k TC. Benefits include an excellent pension and healthcare plan + the option to WFH 1 day per week.
