Summary: The Senior Planner will be responsible for implementing the requirements of Tender and Project Planning Procedures, ensuring strict adherence to the Business Management System. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective relationships with the Client and the BB Project Team, and leading planning activities during the tender stage to develop successful bids. This involves identifying planning scope, major constraints, and contract requirements, and producing the Tender Programme in line with best practices. At the delivery stage, the Senior Planner will maintain the Contract Programme, manage programme risks and opportunities, and ensure proper execution of the contract. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders and production of Visual Management Reports to optimise project delivery. Additionally, the Senior Planner will contribute to the Power T&D Planning Teams development, mentor others, and embody Balfour Beattys values with a focus on Zero Harm.
