Role Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, ensuring a high level of understanding and enthusiasm among students.
*Develop and enhance the mathematics curriculum in collaboration with other department members.
*Utilise a variety of teaching methods and instructional technologies to meet different learning needs and objectives.
*Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
*Participate in departmental meetings, school training events, and continuously seek professional development.
*Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and strategies for improvement.
*Contribute to the broader school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*A degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
*Proven experience of teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
*Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
*Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
*Excellent organizational and communication skills.
*A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
*Enhanced DBS clearance.
