As a Baker, you’ll be working in Eataly’s on-site open Bakery, a vital part of the Eataly experience. Our customer facing bakery is home to a traditional wood fired oven and our team produces various types of breads and focaccias as well as sweet baked goods that are sold directedly to the customers as well as being served in our restaurants and café. Our bakery is high volume and open every day.
The position is full time, 40 hours per week, working on a rota basis 5 days per week.

* Prepare bread, focaccia, rolls and other bread items for Eataly’s restaurants and retail operations.
* Ensures all foods prepared meets quality standards in terms of portion size, flavor, texture, and consistency.
* Follows proper proofing and baking techniques for each variety of bread.
* Support across the pizza section when needed.
* Bakery experience in a professional environment.
* Availability to work on site with a flexible rota covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
* Shifts for this role will typically start between 4am and 5am.
* Experience with fast paced and high demand environment.
* Ability to use a wood fire oven and other professional kitchen equipment.
* A warm and friendly attitude, confidence to interact with our guests.
