The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
2. Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
3. Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
4. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
5. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
6. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
7. Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
8. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
9. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, VB Script or JavaScript.
10. Extensive experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright or UFT.
11. Proficient Experience with tools such as ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, advanced excel features.
12. Experience in Oracle and SQL queries for test data mining, data generation & conditioning
Banking Domain Knowledge:
13. Strong understanding of banking workflows, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
14. Experience testing banking applications such as loan management systems, payment gateways, or risk management platforms.
15. Experience in using mainframe for testing and automation
Automation/GenAI Expertise:
16. Experience in BDD/TDD, Cucumber framework development
17. Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins.
18. Hands on experience in API testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI.
19. Understanding of deep learning fundamentals, RAG and LLMs
20. Experience of API development and integration of models through APIs.
Qualifications:
21. 10+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
22. Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
23. Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
24. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
25. Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
26. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
27. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
28. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
29. Master’s degree preferred
