Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate strong chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest quality and served promptly to our guests.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
* Assist in meal preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed
* Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and contribute creative ideas for menu development
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting
* Demonstrated culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a busy kitchen environment
