Description Estates Administrator. Salary: £23,500 per annum. Location: Watford, Hertfordshire. Contract: Permanent – 35 hours per week. A bit about the role Reporting to the Facilities Manager -Estates, you will deliver an effective, efficient, administrative service that is flexible to meet the needs of operational teams to enable the service to achieve agreed service objectives. How you'll help to create brighter futures Provide a range of administrative services, including professional front-of-house duties to welcome internal and external visitors. This includes handling courier and daily mail distribution. Manage all activities related to business meetings. Prepare written, verbal, and electronic correspondence in collaboration with management and operational colleagues. Conduct desktop research on behalf of colleagues and management to inform responses to received correspondence. Produce presentations and written reports for management. Handle and follow up on business rates processing for accounts related to our building portfolio, including consulting with Local Authorities and addressing both current and backdated payments. Manage utilities and ensure compliance in collaboration with other team members, covering our property portfolio. Let's talk about you Business Administration S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification or work experience. Experience of using PCs on a business network running MS Windows and Office. Experience of providing a confidential, professional service and to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role. Work within a team environment, demonstrating tact and diplomacy with other members of staff. Effective communication written and oral to a range of different personnel. Take responsibility for a task and to deliver within agreed timescales, ensuring diligence. Willingness to learn new processes and apply learning in the workplace and to colleagues.
