The Role:
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will support the Restaurant Manager in the smooth day‑to‑day running of the restaurant, helping to maintain excellent standards of service while creating a positive environment for both customers and staff.
You’ll play a key role in supervising the team, supporting colleagues with day‑to‑day staff issues, and ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently during busy periods.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily operations
* Supervising staff and dealing confidently with day‑to‑day staff issues
* Leading by example to deliver excellent customer service
* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety
* Supporting and motivating the team during busy service periods
* Working independently when required in a fast‑paced environment
* Promoting teamwork, flexibility, and a positive working culture
About You:
Previous supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, confidence in handling responsibility, and a genuine interest in customer service and people management.
Essential skills and qualities:
* Strong communication and people skills
* Confidence in supporting staff and resolving day‑to‑day issues
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
* Good awareness of health & safety and food hygiene standards
* Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
