This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Mechanical & Electrical company working on a prestigious university campus in the heart of Cardiff.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWorking as part of a skilled team on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (7am – 7pm, rotating days & nights), you’ll be partnered with an on-site Electrical Engineer. Together, you’ll handle a wide range of HVAC, mechanical and plumbing maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient environment across the campus.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n\n * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems\n\n * Responding to emergency breakdowns and resolving issues promptly\n\n * Supporting compliance with health & safety and site standards\n\n * Collaborating with the on-site electrical engineer to deliver effective facilities support\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing/Mechanical discipline\n\n * Strong background in Facilities Management or commercial building maintenance\n\n * Experience with HVAC systems and mechanical plant\n\n * Comfortable working on a shift basis and as part of a team\n\nWhat’s On Offer:\n\n * £40,000 base salary + £2,500 shift allowance\n\n * 22 days holiday (on top of shift pattern)\n\n * Excellent overtime opportunities\n\n * Onsite parking\n\n * Company pension & employee discount schemes\n\n * Ongoing training & career progression\n\n * Regular team socials and company events\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a reliable, motivated individual to join a respected name in the M&E sector with long-term prospects and a supportive team culture
