We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our AkzoNobel site in Goole. You will be responsible for the warehouse function, managing your team, and ensuring all warehouse tasks are completed in line with company policies and customer requirements.
This role is being offered on a temporary fixed-term contract ending October 2025.
Working Monday - Friday on a 2-week rotational shift pattern between 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00, you will ensure the smooth running of the warehouse operation, providing ongoing support and development to meet the budget and service targets.

* Lead the team professionally, demonstrating consistency, honesty, and integrity. Deliver staff briefs, toolbox talks, and training seminars effectively and positively.
* Challenge processes, drive improvements, and champion engagement across all levels of the business. Foster a positive team culture by encouraging involvement to enhance employee engagement.
* Collaborate with relevant parties to resolve team issues, considering policies, company values, and ethical practices, and escalate issues promptly to management.
What You Need To Succeed At GXO
* Previous management experience, ideally in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
* Understanding of continuous improvement tools, health and safety, compliance, and employee relations.
* Excellent team management skills, including conducting reviews, return-to-work processes, appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
* Strong communication skills.
