Job Title: Supported Housing Officer

About the role
You will provide support to the Places of Safety project. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills. You will deliver an excellent service to service users and their families, helping them understand their housing options, support networks, and additional needs.
This customer-facing role involves supporting customers to maintain their license agreements with GreenSquareAccord. You will support temporary accommodation leased from registered providers and properties from our own stock. You will collaborate with Gloucestershire's housing districts, customer accounts, maintenance teams, other GreenSquareAccord staff, and external agencies to ensure victims of domestic abuse access and maintain a safe place in the county.
Please note that a DBS check will be required if you are successful. Further details will be sent following an offer.
About you
* You must have excellent knowledge of housing and domestic abuse legislation.
* You should have a good awareness of the diverse needs of customers.
* You need experience managing complex, sensitive customer queries, remaining calm when dealing with emotional, difficult, or distressed individuals.
* An understanding of confidentiality and adherence to policies and procedures is essential.
* You should work methodically, paying attention to details with a high level of accuracy.
