We are looking for someone with a passion for cooking from scratch, cooking with fresh local ingredients and being part of a team that wants to achieve and provide great food.
Responsible for general chef duties & prep as well as cooking during service. Cooking duty prep can include soup prep, making of meat & vegetarian burgers, sauces, chutney and relish accompliments and vegetable prep. All of our dishes are made in house and we take pride in our preperation and service.
Hygiene is of high importance and you will be part responsible for maintaining a clean environment that meets our high level of hygiene.
We have a low staff turnover and want someone calm under pressure, friendly and easy to work with. We want someone with ideas who wants to contribute to menu changes and help us plan new dishes.
Straight shift 5 days a week between Tuesday and Sundays
Day time hours ; between 9.30am/5.30 - average day - can finish between pm
Pay £13.80+
Statutory holiday
Tuesday to Sunday ; hours to be discussed - can have 1 weekend off most weeks, usually a saturday
At interview. Ideally have a little flexibility with days, will work some weekend days as well as weekdays.
Ideally job share with someone equally as flexible to cover remaining days in the week.
