At Mears, we’re looking for a dedicated Assistant HR Business Partner – Wellbeing to take the lead on delivering wellbeing initiatives across our AASC contracts. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional with a passion for employee wellbeing to influence strategic priorities, lead local delivery, and champion a culture where colleagues feel supported, valued, and heard. About the role: The Assistant HR Business Partner - Wellbeing is responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of wellbeing initiatives across our contracts in the North East, Yorkshire, Humber, Northern Ireland and Scotland, as well as monitoring and reporting on wellbeing activities to ensure compliance with processes. The postholder will play a key role in the local delivery of the Wellbeing and Mental Health strategy aims and objectives as well as supporting the wider HR and management teams to address areas of improvement in mental health and wellbeing for our employees. Champion mental health and wellbeing: Coordinate and empower our network of Wellbeing Champions and Mental Health First Aiders across regions to promote mental resilience and awareness. Lead on initiatives: Plan and deliver wellbeing activities, campaigns, and training, ensuring participation and outcomes are tracked and aligned with our wider People strategy. Support through change and crisis: Be the first point of contact for wellbeing support during critical incidents, working alongside HR Business Partners to ensure timely and compassionate care. Turn insight into action: Gather and analyse wellbeing data to identify trends, shape local plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of our wellbeing programmes. Be a strategic voice: Collaborate with HR, operational leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure that wellbeing remains central to our people agenda.
