Job Summary
Are you someone who enjoys spending time with children and young people, providing fun-filled opportunities and creating special memories? At St Andrews Hospice, we offer a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment where our children, young people, families, and workforce are at the heart of everything we do, striving to make each day enjoyable for everyone.
You can make a real difference to the lives of babies, children, and young people with palliative care needs and life-limiting conditions, supporting families throughout their journey from referral to end of life and bereavement.
Being in palliative care nursing is often described as a real honour and privilege. At St Andrews, we aim to make every moment count, bringing joy, happiness, and laughter to our Children's Services, while supporting tears and sad times with care and compassion.
Main duties of the job
Each baby, child, young person, and family is unique. We support them with individualized care plans. Working here provides an opportunity to make a difference and to care, which makes our organization special.
Our Nursing Assistants are crucial in delivering the best care to our families. We seek talented individuals passionate about improving the lives of children and young people with complex health conditions. We focus on making every day meaningful, and you can be part of that.
Flexibility is essential as working hours rotate and include days, nights, and weekends. The role also involves community work, so access to a vehicle and a full driving license are required.
