Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Alternative Provision to deliver high-quality theoretical and practical instruction to our learners. This role involves teaching in both classroom and vocational environments, supporting students. We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for an Lecturer in Alternative Provision to become a member of our newest curriculum area. We have two posts available, on a FTC until July 2027 split between Rhondda and Ystrad Mynach Campus.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical instruction to learners in both classroom and vocational environments.
* Support students in achieving their learning goals and developing applicable skills.
* Contribute to the development of the curriculum area and assist in maintaining and enhancing the learner experience.
Qualifications and requirements
* All staff are expected to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners and uphold Safer Recruitment processes.
* As part of safeguarding, all new starters must successfully complete the required pre-employment checks prior to commencing employment, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
* For roles that involve direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is a mandatory requirement.
