Overview
We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. In a fast paced retail environment where no day is the same, you will be working to support day-to-day store operations and deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments, and help maintain the store’s appearance.
* Assist across all areas of the store including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines to meet customer needs.
* Encourage customer feedback on their shopping trip through completing the “have your say” survey.
* Ensure safe operation and compliance with training to work safely.
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
* Understand store performance and the part you play to deliver profit.
* Adhere to company values, follow policies, and clock in/out to ensure accurate pay.
* Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment where available to keep colleagues and customers safe.
* Follow the Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
* Respond quickly to assistance calls or interventions on self-service checkouts and communicate actions to customers.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and organized store, keeping aisles clear.
* May be required to run the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader and Store Manager.
* Follow all training to keep the team and the store safe and compliant.
