Albert Bartlett is seeking a Technical Compliance Manager specializing in Food Manufacturing to oversee and ensure the compliance of all food safety, quality, and technical standards within the manufacturing process. This role involves managing the implementation and continuous improvement of food safety systems such as HACCP and BRC standards, conducting internal and external audits, and liaising with regulatory bodies and customers to maintain the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to develop robust compliance processes, investigate non-conformances, and drive corrective actions. Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, the role requires strong leadership to foster a culture of safety and compliance across the manufacturing site. Requirements Essential Qualifications and Experience: Degree or equivalent qualification in a food science, microbiology, or related discipline. Proven experience in food manufacturing quality assurance and compliance roles. Strong working knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP, BRC, and other relevant certifications. Experience managing internal and external audits and inspections. Effective leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships. Ability to analyse data, develop reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and quality management software. Desirable: Lead auditor or assessor qualifications. Experience in fresh produce or added value food manufacturing sector.
