Attention Teaching Assistants, LSAs, 1:1 Support Staff - Guaranteed Pay
We are currently seeking Supply Teaching Assistants to join our busy team for daily and short-term assignments across areas including Wednesbury, Tipton, Oldbury, West Bromwich, Blackheath, and Walsall. Immediate starts are available, with roles commencing from Easter onwards. These positions support primary-aged pupils (4-11 years) in mainstream settings or on a 1:1/small group basis. Full and part-time roles are available from April and September.
Due to high local demand, we can accommodate part-time and full-time workers with specific age group experience and preferences.
Your role involves providing outstanding support to local schools by assisting children with tasks set by the class teacher, ensuring engagement and focus, and supporting classroom management, lesson preparation, break times, and lunch as needed. To succeed as a supply teaching assistant, you should:
1. Be eligible to work in the UK
2. Hold a childcare qualification at Level 2 or 3, or an education-related degree
3. Have at least 6 weeks of support experience in a school or similar setting
You should also be:
* Hard-working, caring, and possess good communication skills
* Willing to provide at least two professional references, including your most recent employment
* Have an enhanced (child workforce) DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
