Job Description:
Research Assistant in Heteroclitic Peptides
Overview of the Role
Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in peptide vaccination and in vitro T-cell priming? Are you interested in immunotherapies for hepatocellular carcinoma? Do you want to further your career at one of the UK’s leading research universities?
As a motivated post-doctoral researcher (or close to completion), you will support translational immunotherapy research in peptide vaccination for hepatocellular carcinoma at LIMR. The main focus is to develop and characterise short peptide vaccines for treating hepatocellular carcinoma.
This role involves independent laboratory research towards specific aims, including competency in T-cell priming assays. Tasks also include preparing and submitting a manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal.
Your line manager will be Prof. Adel Samson. The research team includes experts in early phase clinical trials, translational immunotherapy, tumour biology, and therapeutic viruses.
