Maths teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic team in a Scunthorpe-based academy. This role involves teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to the school's vision of fostering a nurturing environment where students can excel in their studies and develop a lifelong passion for learning.

Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons that comply with the national curriculum.
* Assess and record students' progress and prepare them for qualifications and external examinations.
* Foster a positive learning environment in line with the school's vision of nurturing and academic excellence.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
* Participate in school events and activities.
* Provide feedback to students and parents and maintain open lines of communication to support student development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.
* Strong understanding of the current curriculum and educational practices.
* Dedicated to providing innovative teaching to engage and inspire students.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
