The Extracare Charitable Trust are recruiting for a part-time Dementia and Mental Wellbeing Enabler to join our friendly and supportive team at Yates Court, based in Evesham. We are excited to be recruiting for a Dementia and Mental Wellbeing Enabler to support the village’s commitment in delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “ better lives for older people ”. Role Details Role: Dementia and Mental Wellbeing Enabler Hours: 20 hours per week Contract: Permanent Rate: £15,402.40 per annum (pro rata FTE £28,957) Location: Yates Court, High Street, Evesham, WR11 4DN Extracare does not participate in the current “UK Visa Sponsorship” scheme, and we would not be able to facilitate sponsorship. What you'll be doing Provide one to one support to older adults living with dementia and common mental health conditions Working with a multidisciplinary team and being first point of contact when required Responsible for completing cognitive assessments, mood assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest Meetings Make sound well-informed decisions while balancing the needs of the residents Complete risk assessments, and where required raise safeguarding concerns. What we're looking for Proven experience in providing support to older adults, particularly those living with Dementia and Mental health conditions Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with residents, their families and external professionals. Ability to manage an independent caseload for one-to-one work, deliverance of group interventions, and build connections with external professionals.
